Four-time winner leads Wilder's second day

Connor Haigh was a four-time winner Saturday as the second day of the Patti Wilder State Qualifying Meet concluded at Mountain View Aquatic Center.

The 10-year-old Haigh, competing for the Saddlebrook Seahorses team, scored two individual wins, finishing the boys 9-10 25-yard breaststroke in 16.76 seconds and the 100 individual medley in 1:14.12.

Haigh also teamed with Adam Peterson, Cory McNeir and Scott Peterson in the 100 medley relay (1:05.01) and 100 freestyle relay (59.83). The medley team fell .10 seconds shy of a 21-year-old meet record.

Princeton Lakes’ Luke Bartnicki had three wins. The 12-year-old won the boys 11-12 100 IM in 1:07.76 and partnered with Sam Cooper, Adam Bartnicki and David Armington in the 200 medley relay (2:18.61) and Bartnicki, Armington and Riley Collins in the 200 freestyle relay (2:00.96).

Marietta Country Club’s Addie Rose Bullock won twice, taking the girls 9-10 25 freestyle in 13.53 seconds to break a 20-year-old record. She also won the 100 IM (1:11.28).

Chestnut Creek’s Ryan Marino won the boys 11-12 100 freestyle (55.66) and 50 freestyle (26.14), while Windsor Oaks’ Maggie Pokorny won the girls 9-10 50 free (29.25) and 25 backstroke (15.92). Hampton Ridge’s Payton Remick won the girls 11-12 100 IM (1:08.60) and 50 butterfly (30.31), with Pinecrest’s Jami Williams winning the girls 11-12 50 freestyle (27.37) and 50 backstroke (30.64).
