Larry Clay Lacy, age 67, of Acworth, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010. He was born in Kennesaw, GA, on January 5, 1943, and was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Lacy & Lola Dell Lacy and a sister, Tommie Guess. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Lacy served in the U. S. Army. He worked for 20 years for Lockheed as a Security Guard and was a member of County Line United Methodist Church in Acworth. Survivors include his wife, Nadine Lacy; daughters & sons-in-law, Cheryl & Randy Elster of Acworth and Rhonda & Mark Rogers of Kennesaw; sisters & brothers-in-law, Julia & Lester Crisler of Kennesaw and Louella & Fred Baity of Acworth; grandchildren, Jennifer Elster and Clay Rogers; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Jim Hollis and Reverend Katie Strals officiating. Interment will follow Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., from Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Thomas Baity, David Baity, Joseph Guess, Jeff Crisler, Denny Meeks and Franklin Meeks will serve as pallbearers.
