Mr. O.W. Smith, age 87, of Woodstock, GA passed away June 24, 2010. Mr. Smith was a native of Cherokee County and a long time member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by sisters, Rachel Smith of Woodstock, Inez Reece of Rockmart, and Hazel Stover of Canton, brothers, Royce Smith of Fairmount, GA, Maurice Smith of Canton, Lewis Smith of Canton and Silvey Smith, Jr. of Woodstock, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Richie Gibbs and Rev. Larry Eubanks officiating. Entombment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
