For the past two Sundays there have been a pretty large spreads in the "Lifestyle" section of the MDJ about two different families and their new living arrangements.
I am a bit dismayed that at this particular time when so many families, both multi-member and singles, have lost their homes, are struggling to keep their homes, may face imminent loss, and even in many cases are unable to have minor though necessary repairs done to the homes they may be secure in, that the MDJ deems it worthy to include full page spreads about expensive and opulent homes that some are fortunate enough to have.
I am happy for those that are so blessed, but grieve for those who are without and face dark days ahead in their efforts to keep and maintain what they have, given the status of our economy today, with little or no relief in sight.
In a sentence, I think it is in very poor taste!
