I was truly sorry to read in the newspaper about the death of your dear loved one. I just wanted to take this time to express my deepest and heartfelt sympathy. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. When death occurs, it can be most difficult to bear and distasteful, this is because God has infused us with the keen desire to live forever. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

The Bible however indicates that it is possible to be reunited with your loved ones in the near future. At that time, humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never die again!

Jesus Christ boldly promised: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming when those in the memorial tombs will hear His voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) Jesus also promised that millions now dead would live again on this earth and have the prospect of living forever under paradisiacal conditions. (Psalms 37:29)
