Julian Lamar Webb, a native of Sale City, GA and resident of Roseville, CA for the past 5 years and a former resident of Tucker and Powder Springs, GA, Lamar (Hot Shot) passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2009 at the age of 83. He is survived by his daughters, Elaine Allison Webb of Roseville and Eileen Edith Webb of Carson City, NV. He is also survived by his sister, Charlie Ruth Webb Voges and 4 grandchildren, Erin, Gregory, Jordan and Sydney Garrison. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 yrs, Camilla, and his sisters Iris Webb Peterson and Melba Webb Jones. Lamar served as a navigator in the Navy during World War II and was a retired salesman in the welding supply business. He loved going to senior dances, fishing, gardening and grilling. Friends are invited to attend his funeral service Saturday, September 26th at McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church in Powder Springs. He will be in state starting at 1PM, the funeral is at 2 PM, with interment afterward at the Macland Cemetery in Powder Springs, GA. There will be a reception at the church following the service. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association. West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta is in charge of the arrangements, 770-419-9234.
