Shame on paper for cop cartoon

In reference to the police cartoon on your editorial page Tuesday showing a policeman intimidating, and threatening to kill, those practicing our constitutional rights; an implied commentary on the tragic, distressing and confusing, Ferguson, Mo., incident:

What an extremely absurd and offensive cartoon! The paper usually does a decent job trying to provide some balanced political views, albeit with a major tilt towards conservative Cobb County. But this cartoon, along with its muffled expletive, is way out of left field. Even the most liberal media outlets don’t go this far off base. This has to be very offensive to our local and very honorable local police chief, forces and judicial system officials.

Shame on the rest of the MDJ staff for their bad taste.
