Marietta-based Moore Colson recently announced the appointment of Evelyn Poulos, CPA to director of talent, a newly created position within the firm’s Administrative Department.
Formerly a senior manager in the firm’s Business Assurance Practice since 2011, Poulos’ new responsibilities as director of talent will be to elevate the firm’s approach to address the growing need for exceptional talent through recruiting, evaluating and hiring professionals across the board at Moore Colson. She will also help develop the professional staff throughout their careers at the firm with ongoing counsel and the development of specific training programs within the Moore Colson University program. She will also help further build relationships with regional universities to better establish Moore Colson’s presence with regard to its college recruiting and internship program.

Poulos has over 20 years of experience serving start-up, middle market, and large private and public companies. She served as an advisor to Moore Colson clients in the areas of financial accounting, management accounting systems and controls, and financial restructuring. She also served as one of the firm’s technical advisory leaders related to accounting issues.
Prior to joining Moore Colson, she was a senior manager with Gifford, Hillegass & Ingwersen LLP in Dunwoody.
She is a CPA and 1990 graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a bachelor of science in Business Administration. She is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Technology Association of Georgia and PrimeGlobal’s Women’s Leadership Program.
