Marietta-based accounting firm, Moore Colson recently announced the hiring of Stacy-Ann “Stacy” Joseph as a senior associate in the firm’s Risk Advisory & Compliance Services Practice.

She joins Moore Colson with over six years experience in compliance and risk management, auditing and controls, audit issue management, policies and standards and information security controls.

In her new role as senior associate, she will be responsible for IT Audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley and Service Organization Control and IT Risk Assessments.

Prior to joining Moore Colson, she worked for Elavon, a U.S. bank company, in Atlanta as a team lead for audits and issue management in the Risk & Controls Department. In this role, she performed IT audits on all business lines to assess compliance for SOX, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council and other regulations. She also analyzed and developed risk assessments and remediation recommendations for business lines.

She held similar positions with Builders Insurance Group in Atlanta, MLB Associates, an AIG outsourced company in Atlanta and Ernst & Young in Boston, Mass. She has a masters in business administration from Strayer University and a bachelors in business administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass.
