Cobb Travel & Tourism invites diners to “Taste the Good Life” at the sixth annual Cobb Restaurant Week, which will be Sept. 13 to 20. Cumberland-based Gas South is the executive chef sponsor. Throughout the week, participating restaurants will offer pre-selected three-course menus for $15, $25 or $35 per person, not including alcohol, tax or gratuity.

There are no passes to buy, coupons to carry or cards to punch. Participants can simply visit any of the participating restaurants during the week and select from their special three-course menu. This is an opportunity to try local restaurants and tasty cuisine.

Participating restaurants are Aspens Signature Steaks (East and West Cobb locations), Bahama Breeze, The Butcher The Baker, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Cherokee Cattle Company, Cinco Mexican Cantina, Douceur de France, Grub Burger Bar, Hoof & Ale, Ippolito’s, Jocks and Jills Sports Grill, Longhorn Steakhouse (Cumberland, East Cobb, West Cobb, Austell, Kennesaw and Acworth locations), Maggiano’s Little Italy, Marietta Diner, Marietta Fish Market, The Melting Pot, Old Vinings Inn, Otter’s Chicken, Pasta Bella Family Grill, Ray’s on the River, Seed Kitchen & Bar, Social Vinings, SOHO, South City Kitchen, Stoney River Legendary Steaks, Sun Dried Restaurant, Ted’s Montana Grill (Cumberland, East Cobb, West Cobb and Kennesaw locations), Willie Rae’s Social House and Zeal Restaurant.

An early taste of Cobb Restaurant Week will be on Sept. 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Red Hare Brewing Company when several restaurants face off during the Kickoff Cook-Off. Attendees can sample offerings from many of Cobb Restaurant Week’s participating restaurants and then vote on their favorite dish. The restaurant with the most votes will receive Cobb Restaurant Week’s coveted Iron Skillet award.

Attendees will experience a casual, entertaining “foodie” atmosphere while getting the chance to sample Cobb Restaurant Week tastings, receive a souvenir glass at the door and enjoy beer samples and tours of Red Hare Brewing Company, browse sample Restaurant Week menus, win door prizes and network with Cobb Travel & Tourism and partners.

The Kickoff Cook-Off event is free for participating restaurants, $5 for Cobb Travel & Tourism supporting partners and $15 for all registered attendees.
