Simon, a leading global retail real estate company, announced the upcoming addition of Book Warehouse to the assortment of retailers at Town Center at Cobb mall, 400 Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw.

Scheduled to open in early September, Book Warehouse is the national leader among discount booksellers. With deals ranging from 50 to 80 percent off, Book Warehouse features a variety of titles from cookbooks to children’s stories, educational to romance. The 4,600-square foot store will be located on the lower level next to Belk.

“The addition of Book Warehouse fulfills our shoppers’ most common request,” said Shelly Weidner, director of Mall Marketing & Business Development for Town Center at Cobb. “Having a book store will complement our current mix of retailers and ultimately provide even more convenience to our shoppers.”

Along with its regular selection of both today’s best sellers and timeless classics, Book Warehouse will host a weekly Children’s Story Hour and regular author visits. Throughout its grand-opening month of September, the store will be partnering with Reach Out and Read, a non-profit organization that advocates for childhood literacy, and Primrose Schools in order to promote literacy through a book drive benefitting local children.

“I look forward to opening the doors of a place that’s perfect for children, parents, students and bookworms of all kinds,” said Ryan Tusing, Book Warehouse Kennesaw store manager. “We strive to provide an environment for book lovers of all ages to gather, browse, and engage with a knowledgeable staff that is eager to help discover new favorites.”

Town Center at Cobb features more than 175 stores including anchors Macy’s, Macy’s Men’s & Furniture Gallery, Belk, Sears and jcpenney.
