East Cobb residents Randy Agnew, Kurt Waldner and Hector Chaviano and Cumming resident Kerry Finn of the band Suburban Angst entertained fans at the tournament.
East Cobb-based band Suburban Angst rocked the (tennis) house recently at Midtown’s Atlantic Station as a featured performer at the BB&T Atlanta Open tennis tournament.
Tennis fans were entertained at the Michelob Ultra Beer Garden between Saturday’s early matches by the band’s selection of covers of old favorites and deeper cuts from the 80’s through today, including songs by Weezer, POTUS, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Raconteurs, Foo Fighters, U2 and more.
Band members Kurt Waldner, lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Hector Chaviano, bass guitar and vocals, and Randy Agnew, lead guitar, are all residents of East Cobb, while drummer/ percussionist Kerry Finn lives in Cumming.
