Southern Polytechnic University to celebrate 110th graduation

Southern Polytechnic University will celebrate its 110th Commencement Ceremony today.

The event begins at 10 a.m. in the gymnasium.

About 215 students will be awarded degrees.

Willis J. Potts, the former SPSU representative on the Board of Regents of the University System, will speak. Potts is a Georgia Tech and University of Virginia graduate who is known for regularly attending SPSU’s commencement ceremonies.
