Local elected SEB treasurer at Samford

Barlow C. Marriott, a senior business major and the son of William Marriott and Michelle Marriott of Smyrna, was appointed treasurer of Samford University’s Student Executive Board for the 2014-15 academic year. As treasurer, he will work with other Samford Executive Board members and student organizations on funding.

Samford University is Alabama’s top-ranked private university and provides nationally-recognized academic programs rooted in its historic Christian mission. Located in suburban Birmingham, Samford is the 87th oldest institution of higher learning in the U.S. and enrolls 4,800 students from 44 states and 22 countries.
