Presbyterian church plans anniversary celebration

Covenant Presbyterian Church, located at the intersection of Canton and Piedmont roads, is planning a celebration today and Sunday to mark its first half century.

Activities include a homecoming celebration with dinner, a car show, a silent auction, music and special activities for children on July 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. Activities on July 27 will include a special worship service honoring former pastors, a fellowship and a luncheon. Sunday’s events will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The community is invited to attend.
