Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education announced its upcoming schedule of course offerings for both Microsoft Office and QuickBooks’ latest software platforms. The accelerated, targeted training courses in Microsoft Office applications include beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
“Computers in today’s business world will never become obsolete,” said Kristy Mobley, Advanced Technology program manager. “However, your knowledge and skills can quickly become obsolete if you don’t stay current with fast-moving technology.”
The lineup of Microsoft Office’s new 2013 classes include Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint. The courses are designed to boost productivity and efficiency — two of the top qualities employers seek.
Microsoft Office’s 2013 Access classes begin on July 22 and Aug. 5, Word on Aug. 12 and 19, Excel on Aug. 26 and Sept. 9 and PowerPoint on Sept. 16 and 23.
Additionally, KSU is set to offer a training course on QuickBooks 2014, widely regarded as the No. 1-rated small business accounting software. The next class begins on Nov. 13.
All classes are offered at the KSU Center, 3333 Busbee Drive in Kennesaw. Parking and WiFi are complimentary.
