State officials said Tuesday that the plan is based on five recommendation areas including health care, research, data collection and more.
Dr. James Bulot is Division of Aging Services chairman at the Georgia Department of Human Services. Bulot says the overall goal is for organizations throughout the state to coordinate activities and share resources to improve the way Georgians with Alzheimer's and dementia are cared for.
Officials say additional details on the plan and upcoming projects may be found online.
