A State of Our Schools community forum will be Monday at the South Cobb Recreation Center in Austell. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature Cobb school board member David Morgan. Morgan will talk about the College and Career Performance Index for Georgia public schools, local high school graduation rates and recent school leadership changes. Also, Cobb Commissioner Lisa Cupid will give updates on the South Cobb community vision.

All parents and caregivers of students attending a south Cobb public school, as well as interested stakeholders, are urged to attend. The forum is being sponsored by We Thrive on The Drive and the State of Our Schools Committee. For more information, contact Monica DeLancy at (770) 369-6531.
