The Marietta Business Association June 9 luncheon focused on “The Economic Impact of a ‘Staycation’” with a panel discussion by Dale Kaetzel, park president of Six Flags Over Georgia; Sonny Horton, vice president of sales and marketing at Stone Mountain Park; and Scott Higley, vice president of marketing communications at the Georgia Aquarium.

The MBA’s next luncheon will be July 14 at the Mansour Center, 995 Roswell St. in Marietta. The event will feature “Small Business … Rising to the Top and Staying There,” which will feature a panel discussion by three Cobb Chamber Small Business of the Year Hall of Fame members — Mitzi Moore, president of Sun Dial Plumbing Services; Andy Crowe, CEO/founder of Velociteach; and Shane Garrison, owner of Puckett EMS.

The event is sponsored by the KSU Coles College of Business. To make reservations, visit www.mariettabusiness.biz.
