MARIETTA — A Marietta man forced his way into an apartment by knocking down a Marietta resident, police say.

Police say Mark Daniel, 42, pushed open the door to an apartment, demanded money and punched a resident several times.

After stealing a wallet and cash, police say Daniel punched a second resident in the arm and fled.

Daniel, of Marietta, is being held without bond on three felony counts: aggravated assault, robbery and burglary.
