CUMBERLAND — Police arrested a Marietta woman after they say she followed a restaurant employee into the kitchen and fought her on May 25.

According to the arrest warrant, Nicole Darby and an employee of the Chipotle off Cobb Parkway began arguing that afternoon inside the restaurant, which is near Cumberland Mall.

Police say the employee retreated to the office area of the business in order to get away from Darby.

Police say Darby then left the restaurant and re-entered through the kitchen a few minutes later, where she reportedly confronted and shoved the employee.

Police say another employee was able to catch Darby’s tag number as she left the scene.

Darby has been charged with simple battery. She was released from the county jail on bond on the day of her arrest.
