Bank of North Georgia recently announced the promotions of Jason Albritton, Cory Jackson and Brandi Burgess along with the hiring of Vicky Bailey.

Jason Albritton

Albritton was promoted to business banking officer supporting the Cobb County market. He is based at Bank of North Georgia’s Marietta office at 269 Roswell St.

“Jason has shown strong leadership skills by embracing a challenging small business portfolio as well as being a top producer within his Business Banking peer group,” said Mary Karras, senior community executive. “He has the ability to connect with his customers and create loyalty as their account officer, and also to Bank of North Georgia as a whole. With his personal skills, knowledge and strong work ethic, Jason has a bright future at Bank of North Georgia.”

He is responsible for proactively managing and developing relationships with businesses throughout Cobb County and surrounding areas, acting in the capacity of a trusted advisor to business owners and their teams by helping them identify financial needs and providing them with the proper solutions that meet their needs, as well as delivering quality customer service.

Albritton has 12 years of financial services experience. Prior to assuming his current role in August 2013, he was a part of the Synovus Commercial Management Associate program, which is a one year comprehensive training program designed to develop future leaders and commercial bankers. The program entails classroom and on-the-job training, in branch operations, sales and service, credit and risk management, portfolio management and leadership development. He is currently serving on Bank of North Georgia’s cultural trust committee.

A graduate of Auburn University, Albritton represents Bank of North Georgia within the community by actively serving in community organizations such as the Cobb Young Professionals, Cobb Chamber and Watch D.O.G.S., which is an anti-bullying and male role-model campaign in select Cobb County schools. He is also an active member of Northstar Church and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.

Cory Jackson

Jackson was promoted to business banking officer supporting the Buckhead market. He is based at Bank of North Georgia’s Buckhead office.

“I enjoy having Cory on the Buckhead team. He is energetic and has a strong work ethic,” said Marie Mikle, senior community executive. “I have every confidence Cory will be successful at Bank of North Georgia. After less than one year, he is already leading our Business Bankers in production.”

Jackson is responsible for proactively managing and developing relationships with businesses throughout Buckhead and surrounding areas, identifying financial needs and providing them with exceptional customer service.

He began his career as a teller at CB&T Bank of Middle Georgia, a division of Synovus Bank in Warner Robins. He has been with Bank of North Georgia for nine years. Prior to his promotion, He was a part of the Synovus Commercial Management Associate program. He graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2010 with a degree in Criminal Justice.

He is currently a member of the Buckhead Business Association and is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and the Shepherd Center. He is also a committee member for the annual Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation flag football tournament.

Brandi Burgess

Burgess was promoted to branch manager of the Cumming branch.

“Brandi began her career at Bank of North Georgia just over seven years ago and she has excelled in the Retail Banking arena,” said Teri Goodman, retail lead and vice president. “Brandi is a proven leader and it’s a privilege to have her on our team.”

In her new role, Burgess is responsible for new client acquisition, expanding current relationships and overall client retention while driving new loan production.

She joined the bank in 2006 and has held various retail positions. During her tenure, she has been recognized for her outstanding customer service by receiving the Raving Fans Award and was a top sales associate having the most closed referrals for the Stellar Tellar program. Recently, she was the assistant branch manager for two branches: Cumming and Johns Creek. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and holds a bachelors degree in business administration and finance.

Vicky Bailey

Bailey was named vice president and branch manager of the Johns Creek branch. In her new role, she is responsible for new client acquisition, expanding current relationships and overall client retention while driving new loan production.

She has more than 28 years of banking experience in retail and business banking, as well as commercial lending. She joined Bank of North Georgia from SunTrust Bank, where she served as vice president and branch manager for eight years. Before that, she worked at Wells Fargo for 20 years.

Bailey is a member of Kiwanis, Forsyth Chamber of Commerce, Johns Creek Business Association, Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and Network for Success. She also has received the Chairman’s Team Award, President’s Team Award and Manager of the Year. She maintains a Series 6 and Series 63 license, as well as an AIB Insurance license.
