The Metro Atlanta Child Exploitation Task Force, assisted by the Smyrna Police Department, proactively approached Country Inn & Suites By Carlson at 2175 Church Road SE in Smyrna to participate in a law enforcement operation.

Some weeks ago, the hotel was asked to donate a few hotel rooms that would be used to lure alleged sex offenders. As a result of the hotel’s participation, nine people were arrested and charged on multiple counts of child molestation and sex trafficking during a sting operation.

Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Smyrna does not have any current or previous records of prostitution at the hotel. Any questions should be directed to the FBI as the investigation is currently pending.

Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, is a leading mid-market brand with more than 470 hotels operating throughout the world primarily in the United States, Canada, India and Latin America.
