The Marietta Tree Keepers invites the public to its annual Sip n’ Stroll on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Marietta Educational Garden Center in Marietta.

Parking is available and sign-in is at the Garden Center, where the tour will begin.

The event features a special neighborhood to tour with tree experts, identifying common opportunities and issues relating to trees. For this Sip n’ Stroll, the group will stroll down the neighborhood streets of Kennesaw Avenue. Certified arborists and landscape architects will lead the tour of the neighborhood, pointing out the many treasures and challenges that exist among our valuable stock of trees.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own evening refreshments and the Keepers will provide water and light snacks. The center is at 505 Kennesaw Ave., Marietta.

I most sincerely from the bottom of my heart that somebody keeps up with what the sips are from, and that the local police keep up with what the sips are also and keeps drivers off the road that need to be kept off the road from their sip and stroll.
