Glazier Yee LLP announced the opening of its new office in Marietta furthering its national presence. Marlys A. Bergstrom, who joined the firm from Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, has been named managing partner.

Over the last 25 years, Guy Glazier, Laura Yee and their partners, counsel attorneys and associates have represented and counseled hundreds of America’s most successful companies, tried dozens of cases across the country, structured and emplaced successful unclaimed property compliance and audit defense strategies, and achieved unmatched business litigation and litigation-avoidance results.

As Atlanta Managing Partner, Bergstrom hopes to establish and integrate a successful unclaimed property practice within a nationally recognized boutique firm; and position the firm as a trusted unclaimed property advisor providing big-firm knowledge and resources with a boutique-firm, client-centric focus and competitive rates.

Bergstrom is the only partner-level attorney in the country focused exclusively on unclaimed property compliance, planning and related restructuring and audit defense. She has more than 20 years of experience in the area of unclaimed property. Her experience spans all facets of unclaimed property including complex unclaimed property consulting projects for multinational clients in the insurance, high tech, oil and gas, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, travel and health care sectors. Before joining Glazier Yee, Bergstrom was senior manager at Deloitte.
