“It’s truly a family entertainment location. It’s clean and fun,” said Sparkles Event Coordinator and Community Liaison Diane Adams.
Sparkles offers a variety of entertainment such as roller-skating, playground, and 2-level 3D laser tag.
“Sparkles gives kids an alternative to have fun with their family or friends at a lower cost,” Adams said.
Sparkles even offers free wi-fi.
“A lot of parents will come in and do their work while their kids are enjoying the entertainment,” she said.
“We try to make Sparkles a great place for kids to go where parents feel they’re safe. It’s good clean fun. Parents know when they walk in what they’re getting,” she said.
Sparkles has been family owned and operated since 1959 by Couey family. Two Couey brothers operate the four Sparkles locations in Kennesaw, Hiram, Gwinnett and Smyrna. The Couey’s 80-year-old mother is also still active in the business.
The owners take pride in the business and continue to upgrade the space through renovations and technology.
Sparkles in Kennesaw is community oriented, offering special programs for children such as Kids Skate Free that encourages children 10 and younger to get active and out of the house.
Sparkles is open this weekend on Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m and Sunday 2 to 7 p.m.
Sparkles is at 1000 McCollum Parkway, Kennesaw.
