PodPonics, an urban salad-mix production company, announced the official launch of its first consumer product, Lettuce Buy Local, into Atlanta Fresh Market locations, which includes the Marietta location at 1205 Johnson Ferry Road.

Lettuce Buy Local is already available at select Whole Foods and Kroger locations throughout the greater Atlanta area. The mix of greens is pesticide free, kosher, non-GMO and comes washed and ready-to-eat. Sustainably grown in Atlanta, Lettuce Buy Local offers consumers produce they say is more nutrient-dense and eco-friendly than other brands because they say their lettuce is packaged and delivered within hours of harvest.

Packaged in a five-ounce clamshell container, the product is currently available in two mix varieties, Green Mix, with green romaine and green lollo, and Encore Mix, with green romaine, green lollo and red lollo. Ten-ounce packages of each variety are also available. Consumers can expect to see additional Lettuce Buy Local mixes debut throughout 2014.
