MARIETTA — Two young men were arrested last week after Cobb Police say they fired a pistol at two people while on a motorcycle traveling in the city limits of Marietta.

On April 2 at 7:30 a.m., at the corner of Shadowbrook Drive and Dewberry Trail north of Roswell Road, Cobb Police say Robert Gary of Marietta discharged a firearm at a moving vehicle while riding on a blue motorcycle driven by Jose Hernandez of Marietta.

The warrant says the two men then fled from Cobb Police after being told to stop at a second location.

Gary and Hernandez were arrested that evening at Hernandez’s home just south of the location of the shooting.

Hernandez faces charges of possession of firearm during the commission of a felony, willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault.

Gary was given additional charges of terroristic threats, pointing or aiming a pistol at another and discharge of firearms on a public street.

Both men were granted a $15,000 bond, but have not been released from the Cobb County Jail.
