A Ball Ground man is accused of stealing a truck from Marietta Toyota.

Police say George Walters took a vehicle for a test drive and returned to the dealership. According to an arrest warrant, Walters then went inside to negotiate the purchase, then told employees he was stepping outside to smoke.

Police say Walters then got into the vehicle and left the dealership.

Walters has been charged with felony theft by taking. He had not been arrested as of Sunday afternoon, according to jail records.
