At about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, police say two men approached a victim in the parking lot of Crystal Cubes Ice Co., 7040 Mableton Parkway, pushed him to the ground and took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects ran from the area on foot and no one was injured.
Both suspects are described as 5-foot 9-inches tall, black, clean-shaven men, possibly in their mid-20s. One was armed with a black revolver and last seen wearing a black baseball cap, camouflage pants and a red belt.
The second suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with white letters, a red jacket with yellow letters, tan pants and black shoes with white soles.
Later that day, at about 10:30 p.m., police say another man was held up at gunpoint near Roberta Drive and Austell Road in Marietta.
Police say the suspect approached the victim and started asking questions. He then allegedly grabbed the victim and put a handgun to their back. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and then struggled with him until they both fell to the ground.
The suspect ran into the Walton Village Apartment Complex. He is described as a black man, about 5 feet-6 to 5-feet-7 inches tall with a stocky build and a “chunky” face. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and a dark fitted baseball cap.
A third armed robbery was reported at about 3 a.m. on Thursday, on Spectrum Circle near Windy Hill Road. Police say officers were dispatched to that location for a medical call and found a man with several lacerations to his head who reported being pushed down by two black men. The suspects took his cellphone and fled.
The man was treated for his injuries at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
No further descriptions were available Thursday of the two black men accused attacked the man on Spectrum Circle.
