Justin Denson of Hiram was arrested April 8 by Cobb Police and charged with aggravated assault, among other charges.

According to the arrest warrant, Denson was “heavily intoxicated” when he threatened another man with a gun on Eugenia Place near Austell and shot the gun in the front yard of the house.

The yard in which Denson was shooting was only 25 yards from a public street. Denson argued that he had done nothing wrong because he was not within the city limits of any city.

He faces charges of aggravated assault, discharging a firearm under the influence of alcohol, and discharging a firearm near a public street.

Denson was still in custody at the Cobb Jail as of Friday.

Guns in bars
|
April 19, 2014
At the same time Governor Deal plans to sign a bill allowing guns in bars. What could possibly go wrong? The stupidity of some of our Georgia politicians today is astounding.
