An Austell woman was arrested outside of her apartment complex after a U.S. Marshal said she punched him in the chest three times.

Angela Williamson was arrested at 1:30 p.m. on April 8 outside of building 630 in the Whisper Woods apartment complex, off South Gordon Woods Drive west of Mableton Parkway.

According to the warrant, the marshal, who was “clearly marked as a police officer,” told Williamson to leave the outside area so officers could bring the arrested persons out of the building.

“Williamson stated she was not moving and lived in the building,” the warrant said.

According to the warrant, Williamson, who according to jail records has a chest tattoo of “Wonder Woman,” police say, punched the marshal three times in the chest with a closed fist.

“William-son’s mother arrived a few minutes later and said how she was ‘not surprised’ and ‘Williamson would not listen to anyone,’” the warrant stated.

Williamson is facing a felony charge of willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer. She was released from the Cobb jail two days after the arrest on a $7,000 bond.
