St. Louis, Mo.-based Merric Millwork and Seating recently completed millwork renovations to the public spaces at three Georgia-based Courtyard by Marriott Hotels. Work on the three projects, two of which are located in Cobb County, was performed simultaneously.

The hotels were Courtyard by Marriott Windy Hill, 2045 South Park Place in the Cumberland area; Courtyard by Marriott Marietta, 2455 Delk Rd. in Marietta; and Courtyard by Marriott Peachtree Corners, 3209 Holcomb Bridge Rd. in Norcross.

The general contractor on the project was Artistic General Contracting of Lakeland, Fla. The developer was Sage Hospitality.

Millwork installation for the three projects each took six days, with each installation project scheduled back to back. The Peachtree Corners project began Dec. 27 and was completed Jan. 2. The Windy Hill project began Jan. 6 and was completed Jan. 11. The final project of the trio, Marietta, started Jan. 13 and was completed Jan. 18.

Merric Millwork and Seating hand constructed and installed the following public space pieces, which were all identical, at each hotel: a focal wall, welcome pedestals, Go board, quick print station, local library, home theater, business center, S-Bar, market, exercise room towel tower, guest laundry counters, communal table with Corian counter tops and a stainless running base for lobby.
