Top CEOs to offer advice on career

Three leading business chiefs will discuss leadership and current business trends with more than 300 business leaders Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. as part of the 14th annual “Lessons in Leadership: A Legacy of Leadership,” presented by Kennesaw State University’s Michael J. Coles College of Business. 

This year’s event at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway in the Cumberland area, will focus on career longevity and featuring CEOs whose leadership terms have spanned decades. The panelists will discuss bouncing back from failure, building a support team and positioning for career growth.

Featured speakers include Hala Moddelmog, president of the Metro Atlanta Chamber and the former president of Arby’s Restaurant Group; Reynold Jennings, CEO of WellStar Health System; and Jerry Shirk, vice president of finance and treasury with Georgia Pacific. The panel moderator will be Chesley McNeil, meteorologist and host of 11Alive — Wake up With Chesley.
