A Marietta woman was arrested by Cobb Police on Thursday evening after she was reported for operating an unlicensed personal care home, “A Home Sweet Home Personal Aid,” in her apartment on Austell Road.

According to regulators, Sybil Ann Gause was caring for two disabled adults and supervising their medication without a license from mid-January until last Wednesday. Police say Gause received notification from the Healthcare Facility Regulations in November that a license is required to care for more than one client with special needs. She was taken into custody last Feb. 20 and was released two days later on a $5,000 bond.
