Police say Joseph Pacheco of Marietta and John Skedgell of Powder Springs drove their four-wheelers in circles on the baseball field of Lost Mountain Park off Dallas Highway on Feb. 13.
According to the warrant, the men drove “through the park, causing additional damage to the embankment behind the dumpsters and along the walking trail around the park.”
When Pacheco was given a verbal command by a Cobb Police officer to stop, he fled the scene “at a high rate of speed … traveling on snow and ice” across the road, according to police.
Pacheco’s arrest report included two misdemeanor charges of obstructing law enforcement and reckless conduct. He was released the next day on a $6,000 bond. Skedgell was given a $5,000 bond.
Another incident after the snowstorm involves two more men in a different county park.
Warrants for Jason McGowan of Acworth and Austin Evans of Stone Mountain have been issued, but no arrests have been made.
On Feb. 13 at 2:25 p.m., Cobb Police say the men damaged government property by riding dirt bikes on the football field of the Milford Park in south Cobb, off Hicks Road east of Austell Road.
The warrant said the damage will cost $3,950 to repair.
