Cobb County’s Margie Medlin was presented the CRS Realtor of the Year Award by the Georgia CRS Chapter, which has more than 700 members. Each year the state chapters each nominate one Realtor for this award.

Medlin, with RE/MAX Pure at 93 Church St. in Marietta, was recognized for her work on the CRS Chapter with Heart Committee that she chaired in 2013. Her committee raised thousands of dollars for local charities in Georgia including the Fisher House in Augusta, the Ronald McDonald House in Atlanta and the Georgia Association of Realtors Scholarship Foundation.

She has also been elected to serve as 2014 Secretary/Treasurer for the Georgia CRS Chapter. She is active with the Cobb Association of Realtors, works on the Boots & Bling event committee benefiting YMCA of Cobb County and also serves on various ministries through her own church community outreach program.

During her career with RE/MAX, Medlin won the 2013 CAR Humanitarian of the Year Award, served as 2008 president of the Cobb Association of Realtors and was named to the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.
