“Unlike just getting someone a card and box of chocolates and maybe a flower, when a song is sung to her there’s nothing that will touch her heart more than this expression of love. It’s like no other experience,” said Terry Morrison, a Ball Ground resident who chairs the Singing Valentine program and has been a member of BCC for 10 years.
A surprise visit from a quartet — dressed in tuxedos with a Valentine’s Day red vest and bow tie — will deliver two sentimental love songs, a red rose and a card with a personal message to your significant other, at the location of your choice.
Singing Valentines have brought tears to the eyes of many.
“To hear from these people that (a Singing Valentine) was the most beautiful gift that they could receive it makes it so good. I know that there is nothing more powerful than that feeling,” said Morrison who works as a financial adviser.
Quartets will deliver the Singing Valentines. The cost is $25 for a telephone delivery and $50 for a live delivery within a four-hour time window. Tighter windows are available for a nominal extra charge.
“(The Singing Valentine) is like a kiss and a hug and it lasts for five minutes,” he said.
“It’s like a command performance, up close and personal,” Morrison said. “We spread joy through harmony.”
