Cooper paced the Lady Indians
(16-2) with 31 points. Jada Lewis had 19, including three 3-pointers, and Taylor Gordon finished with 10. Cooper, Lewis and Gordon combined for 25 of McEachern’s 31 second quarter points.
Caliya Robinson had eight points for the Lady Indians, who connected on seven 3-pointers and went 10-of-13 from the free throw line. Hoover made 27 of 40 free throws.
McEachern will host South Cobb on Tuesday.
Mount Paran Christian 42, Pace Academy 32: Que Morrison scored 15 points as the Lady Eagles gradually pulled away for a non-region victory.
Caroline Ethridge added five points and 10 rebounds in the win.
Mount Paran (15-3) will travel to Fellowship on Tuesday.
Lassiter 60, Woodstock 42: Lassiter broke a 21-all halftime tie by outscoring Woodstock 15-8 in the third quarter and 39-21 in the second half to pick up another Region 5AAAAAA victory
Justin Jackson made four 3-pointers, was 9-of-10 from the free-throw line and finished with 23 points for the Trojans (5-16, 2-8).
Derrick Lloyd had 11 points and Austin Cheatum had eight points and nine rebounds.
Lassiter, which made 21 of 27 free throws, will host Milton on Tuesday.
Kennesaw Mountain 72, Hiram 59: Alex White, Andrew Jimenez and Josh Craig each scored 12 points to lead the Mustangs to a non-region win.
Kennesaw Mountain (8-12) spent much of the evening at the foul line as it connected on 27 of 49 shots.
The Mustangs will host North Cobb on Tuesday.
Walker 58, Atlanta International 46: Walker jumped out to a 22-12 first quarter lead and 37-22 halftime advantage, en route to the non-region road win.
Robert Baker had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolverines (7-13). Spencer Palladino chipped in 11 points and five boards, while Ahmad McCullough added 11 points. Zach Eikost totaled nine points.
Walker is at St. Francis on Tuesday.
Furtah Prep 44, Dominion Christian 43: After allowing the Falcons a 3-pointer, and a one-point lead with 25 seconds left in the game, the Knights couldn’t get a shot in before time expired.
Dominion (9-8) took a three-point edge into halftime, but it couldn’t get the lead to stick.
Jordan Dorsey had 17 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Tate Cooney added 11 points and six rebounds for the Knights, who will travel to Loganville Christian on Tuesday.
