Ralph L. Clark, 83, of Kennesaw died Wednesday, January 22, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Marietta with Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews officiating.  A visitation with the family will take place immediately following the service. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Johnson Clark of Kennesaw; one son, Greg Clark of New York, NY; brothers and sisters in law, Michael and Linda Johnson, Joe and Gail Kitchens, Charlie and Joan Johnson, Clark and Sally Johnson; several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Porter Clark. Mr. Clark was born in Austinville, VA.  He was a US Navy Veteran in The Korean Conflict.  He retired from Lockheed Martin with over 30 years of service.  Mr. Clark was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Marietta where he was active with Youth Camp, the Grocery Bus Ministry and served on various committees throughout the church.  He was also a member of the Jack Aaron Sunday School Class, member of Nelms Lodge #323 F&AM.  He enjoyed golf, snow skiing, fishing and traveling.  He especially enjoyed getaways to St. Simons. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Blue Skies Ministries, 1000 Whitlock Ave. Box 234, Marietta, GA  30064 or First United Methodist Church, 56 Whitlock Ave. Marietta, GA  30064. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta will be handling the service. 770-428-1511.
