I commend the Marietta Daily Journal for its story “I’m not a bum,” concerning the wrongful foreclosure of Richard Chamber’s home. Leo Hohmann did a superb job in getting all the details together to disclose what Richard had been going through.

It has been wonderful to know about and to see all the Christ-like love and compassion that has been bestowed on Richard during his fight to get his home back, as well as what happened after the story hit the front page. So many people wanted to do what they could to help him get a job and to get back in his home, which is simply what he wanted to do.

A big thank you is in order to the Marietta Daily Journal for a job well done.
