Cobb Police pulled an overturned car out of a creek in east Cobb, west of Johnson Ferry Road, on Monday afternoon.

At 11:28 a.m., a car went off a small bridge and landed upside down near the corner of Bill Murdock Road and Casteel Road in east Cobb, according to Cobb Police.

No injuries were reported.

The car was removed by 1:30 p.m., and a hazmat team surveyed the scene for car fuel that was possibly leaking into the creek, said Officer Mike Bowman with Cobb Police.

Bowman said he did not know why the car went down the hill and into a creek.

Stop signs and flashing lights would not have prevented this man from failing to stop.
