Michael David Stokes, of Acworth, was arrested on charges of unlawful manufacturing and possession of distilled spirits Jan. 3, according to a warrant.

Police reported in a warrant they found a still with alcohol inside of it in Stokes’ garage on Toonigh Road, and he had not paid any taxes, fees or bonds to legally make the alcohol. Stokes was held in a Cobb County jail on a $5,000 bond, a warrant said.

You shouldn't have to pay the government for the privilege of making a legal product in your home. I would love to be on that jury.
