State Rep. Stacey Evans (D-Smyrna) spoke to the Smyrna Business Association on Thursday at the Smyrna Community Center, giving a preview of the legislation session, which begins Monday. Last year, Evans worked with Gov. Nathan Deal to make the HOPE Grant more accessible to students enrolled in Georgia’s technical college system. She has said she plans to continue working with Deal in the coming session to add to those reforms.
