Kennasia R. Walton, of Marietta, was arrested on Dec. 14, police reported in a warrant, for reportedly stealing more than $1,500 of cash out of the register at Wal-Mart at 210 Cobb Parkway, Marietta.

Police say between Dec. 2 and Dec. 14, Walton was caught on store security cameras taking approximately $6,000 from her work station register and concealing the money in several different locations, according to the warrant.

Walton admitted in a written statement that she took $2,000 from the store, and was charged with theft, taken into custody by Cobb County police and held on a $6,000 bond, a warrant said.
