Police: Man struck, killed on I-285 in drunk driving incident

Devon Baxley, 24, of Marietta was killed when he exited a car on Interstate 285 west at New Northside Drive at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Sandy Springs police say.

Baxley was a passenger in a car driven by Sara Anderson, 30, of Grayson.

Anderson was charged with driving under the influence and is being held at the Fulton County jail. The driver of the vehicle that struck Baxley was not charged, police say.

The wreck closed three lanes on I-285.
