Kevin Gray has been charged with misdemeanor false report of a crime, making harassing phone calls and unlawful conduct for allegedly making a false 911 call from another state.

Cobb County police say Gray called 911 and told a dispatcher he was at a home on Greenhouse Patio Drive, off George Busbee Parkway, and his ex-girlfriend “put her hands on him.”

When police arrived, they discovered Gray was in New Jersey and the calls from a phony number, according to the arrest warrant.

Police also say Gray called his ex-girlfriend 36 times throughout the day, forcing her to block his phone number.
