David Patrick Ross, 72, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on December 1, 2013. He was born February 25, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John Ross Jr. and Ida Katherine Ross. Dave is survived by his wife, Pamela Adris Ross. Married for more than 36 years, they lived in Toledo, Ohio; Maumelle, Arkansas; Troy, Michigan; and Waterville, Ohio; before moving to Acworth in 1999. Dave worked as a sales engineer for General Electric, Siemens and Moeller Electric. He was secretary of Kennworth Kiwanis and previous co-treasurer and an active member of the Blue Springs Homeowners’ Association. In addition, he was an avid tennis player and recreational sailor, and together with his wife a consummate home and garden do-it-yourselfer. Dave is also survived by his children, David Patrick Ross Jr., Brian Michael Ross, Gregory Joseph Ross and Eileen Margaret Ross; his twin brother, John Michael Ross, and siblings, Kathleen Ellen Dangerfield, Richard Brian Ross, Judith Anne Nelson, Terrence Alan Ross, Daniel Kevin Ross, Jeffrey Robert Ross and Margery Mary Wright; grandchildren, Maxwell Ross Reed, Lucas Ross Reed, Angelica Aronne Ross, Alexander Aronne Ross, and Raphaël Jean David Ross; and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw on Saturday, December 7 at 1 p.m., and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Following, there will be a reception at the Blue Springs Subdivision clubhouse in Acworth.
