Let's hear one thousand more times about teachers (that the Board of Commissioners have absolutely nothing to do with). Only underpaid, unappreciated faction of society and they need more time off, less work, more pay; heck, let's throw in a new pair of shoes. Sob. Sob. Sob.

You have to love this. The Braves get a major revenue stream, paid for by us, so they go laughing into the night. I'm guessing the word "sucker" was used in describing the four commissioners (those that CLAIM they are there for the public that voted yes. Ms. Cupid, you have integrity. Right now, the back lisping is probably going on, as those commissioners who call themselves our neighbors, smile, and yuck it up. Let the parties begin. Wouldn't it be interesting if they ere voted out of office before 2017 and did not get to attend the ceremonies? Looking forward, I can almost hear the word "fools" being used, as they talk about themselves. Think now. This is such a money maker. It is so big that the Braves did not want to take it on themselves. Maybe, it is not going to be a big money maker. At least we know who will provide security and do the plumbing. So, for now, Fabulous Four, smile, cheer, climb onto your pedestals. Remember, you were voted in to office to serve, not gain personal splendor and improve your reputation.

How is a public institution like KSU able to say that it supports the move? I understand the businesses, but not a PUBLIC institution. I guess the fact that the Owls logo is on a page that reads, "Our Businesses Support a Yes Vote" puts it in perspective. KSU truly does consider itself a business, rather than a facility for higher learning. I guess that should have been obvious with their takeover of SPSU, so that it can become a Division 1 school in sports. Isn't that what the hostile takeover is really all about.
