WellStar Health System has been chosen among the Top 10 of Working Mother Magazine’s Top 100 Best Companies. Janie Maddox, chair of the WellStar Board of Trustees, left, received the award at the recent Working Mother Gala Awards Dinner in New York. Janie was accompanied by Carol Evans, right, president of Working Mother Media. This is the sixth year WellStar was chosen for the Top 100 list and fourth year in the Top 10. ‘Our commitment to world class health care starts with creating a world class place to work. Being named, for the sixth year in a row, as one of Working Mother’s 100 Best Companies and a Top 10 Company for the fourth year ensures our ability to continue to attract and retain top talent,’ said David Anderson, executive vice president of Human Resources and Organizational Learning and chief compliance officer. Other Top 10 companies include Deloitte, Ernst and Young, General Mills, IBM, KPMG, Proctor and Gamble, PWC, Abbott and Prudential Financial.
